NEU conducted a two-part online survey requesting information from innovative materials and technology companies to understand their product characteristics, manufacturing processes, availability, and market presence, as well as applications and environmental performance.

Survey Results from Companies Producing Low-Carbon Concrete Materials and Technologies

Data was gathered through a two-part online survey distributed between May 2023 to February 2025, targeting innovative low-carbon cement and concrete materials and technology companies, primarily established in the USA.

The survey targeted manufacturers of innovative binders or cementitious materials, supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs), aggregates, chemical admixtures, reinforcement, complete concrete mixtures, carbon capture, utilization, and storage, or any other material or technology that helps reduce the carbon footprint of concrete.

The result was a total of 47 companies responded, representing an 83% response rate. These responses cover 54 products.

This survey information is based solely on data submitted by the companies. NEU is not responsible for any changes in information that may have occurred. Companies that have completed this survey (Part A) are encouraged to complete Part B, in order to contribute to a secondary report.
